How Long Does SKINVIVE Treatment Take?
Depending on where exactly your SKINVIVE is placed, the duration of your treatment may vary. However, on average, SKINVIVE does not take long to inject at all. The average patient can get SKINVIVE within 15 to 30 minutes.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Just like any other dermal filler, SKINVIVE comes with the following side effects:
- Redness
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Tenderness
- Firmness
- Discoloration
- Itching
- Bumps under the skin
These side effects are common and typically disappear within seven days after treatment. If you experience a more serious reaction after treatment, such as infection, allergic reaction, no improvement to dry skin, changes in skin sensation, or an abscess, contact us immediately.
What Is Recovery Like After SKINVIVE?
Quick, easy, and efficient, SKINVIVE does not require downtime, and many patients are able to return to their normal routines immediately after treatment. During recovery, you will experience common side effects such as redness and swelling, which should subside on their own within one week after treatment. For the first week, you should avoid activities such as rigorous exercise, prolonged exposure to the sun, and any other activities that may increase the risk of injury to the face.
After about a week, you should be able to see improvement in your skin’s complexion.
How Long Do the Results Last?
The results of SKINVIVE are made to last for up to six months. After this time, you may schedule a follow-up appointment to get your fillers refilled. Regular treatments every six months can help to keep your skin smooth, hydrated, and glowing!
